"BIOS MEANS LIFE"
"BIOS
BUILDING" TM
DEF.
A building that
uses only clean, renewable energy for
heating, cooling and electricity.
The Bios Building Technology Center is 15,000
Square feet of prime commercial, industrial and residential space in
downtown New Milford CT, powered completely by the Earth, Sun and Wind!
The geothermal heat pumps are connected to photovoltaic cells and wind
turbines on the roof.
No dangerous gas hook ups, No leaky oil tanks,
No reliance on foreign fuel prices!
The building will be connected to the power grid per
state mandate, however since the building will be capable of producing
more energy than it needs the electric meter will spin backwards!
The power company is then required to pay us full retail
rates for the power we produce, and we can show you how to do the same
with your home or building!
Not only is the building good for the environment and
it's occupants, it is economically sound.
